House project 2017: New carpet
New carpet in our upstairs living room, hallways, stairs, and landing downstairs.
Before picture. White carpet. It always looked dirty and gray and was poor quality.
We are thrilled to have brand new carpet, pad and transition boards. Thanks to my parents, Craig & Trudy for such a great gift.

Larsen Family Reunion 2017 w/ Fire
Our annual family reunion was sadly brought to an abrupt and early end today as we had to evacuate the cabin we were staying in because of the massive fire at Brian Head. We are very grateful that everyone in our family is safe and sound. We have heard that it may be weeks until we know the extent of the damage and if the stuff that my family wasn't able to grab is salvageable.
Please keep those affected by the fire, and those fighting it, in your prayers. We certainly are.

Memorial Day 2017 hike to Canyon Falls
Memorial Day this year we helped the living instead of the dead. We went and washed all the windows in my grandma Nola and grandpa Ronald's house. Then we went on a hike to Canyon Falls waterfall in Ogden Canyon. Caught some photos. I love them.
Especially like the one of my grandma reading stories to Talia.

Hardships come rolling again
Hard times come for everyone. We have found out that both of our kids are needing surgery. Talia needing extensive dental work which she will need to be put under for. Bingham will need abdominal and testicular surgery @ Primary Children's hospital. McCord has had major dental work done which was quite expensive. And mama has miscarried again. Last week we found out that McCord has lost his job with Rocky Mtn Renewable Energy. The small company, owned by our friends, is no longer able to pay him, effective immediately. More bad news with our old cars breaking down, and we have leaking major pipes in the house. The IRS is also auditing us for our taxes and we owe $1700 back to the IRS.
"When it rains, it pours" so the saying goes.
We pray we can keep our heads above water and are saying prayers that we can get through this time.

Bingham's 1st Birthday
Our little Bingham is 1. We are so happy to have him in our family. He brings so many special things to our world. Happy Birthday Bingham! We love you with all our hearts!

Talia's 5th Birthday
Talia turned 5 today, May 1st 2017. Can't believe our little girl is growing so fast. We sure love her. She has such a love for all the little things in life and gets so excited over everything. We love her so much! We couldn't imagine life without her. Seems like only yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital, always our beautiful little one.
To celebrate this year she had a big "Trolls Dance Party" with all her friends. We had glow balloons hanging from the ceiling, pictures and streamers all over the house. Balloons everywhere. It was awesome! Kids in attendance: Lincoln Larsen (cousin), Anson Carlisle, Porter Pehrson. They danced and had such a great time!
Our family party we went to the Toy store, Comic Shop, and Nickel Arcade. We played arcade games and she did so well. It was a blast. She also got to choose the meals we had all day. Breakfast: cream of wheat. Lunch: cream of mushroom soup. Dinner: turkey steaks. We stayed up late opening presents and singing. To close the night, we gave her glow bracelets in the bath tub with lots of bubbles. She LOVED her birthday day. It was a smashing hit.
Talia's friend party (Trolls Dance Party) was super fun.
Our family party we went to the Nickel Mania Arcade. We had so much fun!

Playing in the dirt
My kids get dirty and I like it. They deserve to be kids and get messy. We can do baths later before bed, no big deal.
I laughed the whole time I was watching them play in the dirt this evening. Way worth the mess!
