Hard times come for everyone. We have found out that both of our kids are needing surgery. Talia needing extensive dental work which she will need to be put under for. Bingham will need abdominal and testicular surgery @ Primary Children's hospital. McCord has had major dental work done which was quite expensive. And mama has miscarried again. Last week we found out that McCord has lost his job with Rocky Mtn Renewable Energy. The small company, owned by our friends, is no longer able to pay him, effective immediately. More bad news with our old cars breaking down, and we have leaking major pipes in the house. The IRS is also auditing us for our taxes and we owe $1700 back to the IRS.
"When it rains, it pours" so the saying goes.
We pray we can keep our heads above water and are saying prayers that we can get through this time.

Bingham's 1st Birthday

Talia's 5th Birthday
Talia turned 5 today, May 1st 2017. Can't believe our little girl is growing so fast. We sure love her. She has such a love for all the little things in life and gets so excited over everything. We love her so much! We couldn't imagine life without her. Seems like only yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital, always our beautiful little one.
To celebrate this year she had a big "Trolls Dance Party" with all her friends. We had glow balloons hanging from the ceiling, pictures and streamers all over the house. Balloons everywhere. It was awesome! Kids in attendance: Lincoln Larsen (cousin), Anson Carlisle, Porter Pehrson. They danced and had such a great time!
Our family party we went to the Toy store, Comic Shop, and Nickel Arcade. We played arcade games and she did so well. It was a blast. She also got to choose the meals we had all day. Breakfast: cream of wheat. Lunch: cream of mushroom soup. Dinner: turkey steaks. We stayed up late opening presents and singing. To close the night, we gave her glow bracelets in the bath tub with lots of bubbles. She LOVED her birthday day. It was a smashing hit.
Talia's friend party (Trolls Dance Party) was super fun.
Our family party we went to the Nickel Mania Arcade. We had so much fun!

Playing in the dirt
My kids get dirty and I like it. They deserve to be kids and get messy. We can do baths later before bed, no big deal.
I laughed the whole time I was watching them play in the dirt this evening. Way worth the mess!

Wendy's/Chubbies night
Had to post fun memory. We watched Boy Meets World tonight and got midnight Wendy's burgers and fries since the show has the characters going to Chubbies (their burger joint) in almost every episode. It was super fun. A date night in for $5. We were up until 2am enjoying each other's company.
I love my husband so much! I consider myself so lucky to have him as my companion! My whole heart is full of love!

Easter & Jazz Playoffs 2017
Happy Easter Saturday!
Also the 1st time in 5 years the Utah Jazz play in the playoffs. So instead of Easter colors, we wore Jazz attire. Game 1 started Saturday night and it was an AMAZING game!
Easter was so much fun this year! We went to grandma Ronald & Nola's Easter egg hunt and scavenger hunt. We went and got real Mexican tacos for dinner. Yum!
Easter bunny came, spreading jelly beans all over the house as usual, and left candy and drinks for everybody. Bingham's 1st Easter. Bingham loved the plastic Easter eggs. Talia's favorite part of Easter this year was "The jelly beans go from the basket and go all over the floor. That's my favorite part".

Spring playtime
We go to the park at least once a week. We live so close and it's easy to get to on a lunch break for me during work.
