Once again we have miscarried. It was fun to think about having children 18 months apart. My mother had children very close together. Thoughts of having a 3rd child were pretty exciting. But this wasn't meant to be. The Lord must have different plans in store for me and our family. This miscarriage was swift and naturally passed within 3 days. Baby was about 8 1/2 weeks along, developmentally 6 weeks along. Small heart beat was found at 7 weeks but it was very faint and weak. After the 1st ultrasound, my expectations were low for survival. Since I have seen so many ultrasounds before, I knew what I was looking for. This one wasn't going to make it.
Our faith remains strong in the Lord. Perhaps we are meant to have 2 beautiful children. Perhaps more. The future is unknown. Mccord and I, both, every day are SO grateful for the children that we have and the family that we were blessed with. We truly feel so fortunate to have any kids at all.
To all who are struggling with infertility, miscarriage, or child loss, please know that you are not alone. Please know that every tear, heart ache, and sleepless nights happen to more people than you know. The Lord is there to help and comfort you. I know that if you reach out to God and his son, Jesus Christ, that you can make it through.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017
This new years we spent celebrating with Tristan & Sarah. We went to the Jazz game and then put kids to bed and watched YouTube clips as well as a movie until the clock struck midnight. It was a nice, non-crazy, fun, and relaxing new years. Tristan & Sarah let us sleep at their house also. Such wonderful people. How did I ever get so lucky to have such awesome best friends?

Christmas Eve 2016
Christmas Eve this year was full of fun. We got to do danish hot cakes in the morning. Homemade nachos and homemade egg nog for snacks. Dinner we had lasagna, garlic cheese bread, corn, and glorified pears (with miracle whip and shredded cheese on top). There's a winter weather storm watch across the Wasatch front area so we planned on staying home as we get snowed in for the holiday. Our 4 wheel drive vehicle spontaneously wouldn't start after errands this morning, so we most likely would stay put.
Great activities we got to do:
- family game of LIFE.
- family Christmas movie
- make cookies
- hot cocoa
- wrap presents
- Christmas stockings
- cookies and milk for Santa.
- lavender bubble baths for kids
- Christmas PJs present
Was so much fun the snow start to fall Christmas eve and knowing we'd wake up with a white Christmas. I'm so grateful for such a great little family. Christmas tomorrow will be so magical with my bouncing 4 yr old and giggling 7 month old.
