Nate's wedding/Denver/Breckenridge Colorado Trip

We took a road trip to Colorado with our 2-3 week old newborn. The trip was mostly for Nate & Alex's wedding reception (since her family lives there). We also got to tour some sights in Denver on the way to Breckinridge.

Breckinridge, Colorado was so beautiful. We were up at about $10,500 in elevation. Clear blue skies most of the time. We were able to take a hike. Beautiful snowfall as well. It was quite the experience to stay in a beautiful warm cabin high in the mountains while watching the snow fall. The crepes were fabulous, and the quaint town of Breckinridge was fun to walk around as well.

All around, a successful road trip. Kids were awesome and we had so much fun!

In Denver, we toured the Denver Broncos stadium, Coor's Brewery, and saw the Denver LDS temple. Denver was awesome

--------- NATE & ALEX WEDDING ---------
(May 7, 2016)

Discharged from the hospital at 6pm on May 6th 2016, we got home from having Bingham and set out all our clothes to be at my baby brother Nathan's wedding the next morning. Such an emotional and amazing moment to be in the temple for his sealing to his new wife, Alexandra (Alex) Cattich.
A covenent made while we were all young children, as a family, was fulfilled this day. It's been such a good day filled with love and happy tears.

Bingham's Birth

Bingham Eyre Larsen
Born: May 5, 2016
Time: 8:47am
Weight: 7 lbs 15 oz
Length: 20 1/2 inches
Place: University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah
Doctor: Dr. Howard Sharp

From the mother:
The birth of our little Bingham was a great experience. The doctors and nurses listened to everything I had to say. They gave me less than half of the medication that I needed and Bingham was here before we knew it. Both baby and I are doing well. I'm recovering fast due to the helpful staff and awesome nurse at the hospital.
Bingham has warmed our hearts the very second he arrived. He loves music with classic melodies. He's has a sweet heart and we love him so very much!
After 4 miscarriages, we feel the journey has been way worth it.

From the father:
For nearly a decade, I had planned naming my first son Porter, after the great folk hero Porter Rockwell. Once we found out that this pregnancy was going to go full term, that feeling changed. Lisa and I agreed on naming him after another hero, my grandfather, Vern Bingham Eyre. Grandpa Vernie was a physically and spiritually strong man. He was kind and compassionate. His dedication to his God, country, and family, truly demonstrate the best that humanity has to offer. I pray that our little Bingham will be able to demonstrate similar qualities as his namesake. It's been a difficult journey to get this little guy here, but those efforts have been totally worth it.

Bingham Eyre Larsen, named after your father and grandfather. Both spiritual giants! May you be able to use their good deeds to fuel your life's decisions. May you always look up to them both and strive to be the best person you can. Photos of Vern Bingham Eyre during WWII.

Talia's 4th Birthday

Talia's 4th birthday was priceless! Superhero came and ran the whole show for us! She told her story, did games, face painting, and brought presents for Talia and all of her friends. We did cupcakes and everyone dressed up as superheroes. It was awesome and McCord and I enjoyed letting someone else run the show while sat and enjoyed every moment.
Friends in attendance:
Lincoln Larsen, Ashlyn Adams, Zaria Rollins, Evangeline & Carlisle Peterson, Hayden Graham (son of Ashley Graham Forrest). Supergirl performed by: Ellie Elliot

For Talia's family party, she got to pick her birthday dinner. "I want to go to Texas Road House because I like peanuts." and she got to choose what to wear all day (Supergirl costume and ball cap of course)

Lisa's Birthday: 30

My 30th birthday was mostly spent getting my "30 before 30 list" completed. The 30 things I wanted to do before I turned 30. I'm happy to say I accompolished all but 1. The last thing I needed to do was see Greece. We were going to do that in May 2016, but we had a baby instead, which was WAY worth it. We'll get to Greece soon. I know we will.
