DISNEYLAND VACATION 2015

Day 1: it was such an amazing day today.  We flew in last night into the Los Angeles airport and grabbed our rental car. Talia did so well flying. She was a perfect angel the whole time even though we ledge flying around bedtime. We got to our hotel and went straight to bed.
First day of Disneyland we got up, enjoyed full breakfast at the hotel.
We went and saw Tinkerbell and the fairies first, since she's Talia's favorite.

Happy New Year 2015

Goals this year:
- 10 family names (full ordinances).
- 1 family outing per month
- scriptures/prayers continued
- FHE each week
- Read 1 book this year
- disneyland family vacation
- Home repair each month. Follow chart
- pay off swamp cooler loan early (May)
- pay off the Rodeo loan
- pay off Nissan repairs
- 2015 family vacations: disneyland, and a small one later in the year (Moab?)

Review of goals last year:
- play clix with McCord at least once a semester. DONE!
- date nights each week. DONE!
- temple twice a month. Only went maybe 10 times this year.
- listen to 1 conference talk each month. DONE!
- 1 family activity each month. DONE!
- pay off Lisa's student loans early. DONE!
- pay off Camry loan. DONE!
- scripture reading lagged a bit the last 2 months with the last miscarriage. 😔
- home improvement didn't do $100/month but rather $60/month because of the hard year it was financially.
- no family vacation was taken, but we paid off Disneyland in 2014, so we like to count that. 😃
- I did not finish my Ender's Shadow book this last year. Got 3/4 done.Dang

All in all last years goals, weather accomplish in full or not, were great goals. They improved me as a person spiritually and strengthened the bonds in my family. I look forward to my new goals and the good consequences that they will bring.

Sledding behind the car

My dad, "Grandpa Craig", always pulled us behind the car in the sled or toboggan. This year Joseph gave him a big sled and my dad took the grandkids out and pulled them behind the car just like he did for us. It was super fun. The kids loved it! No tears or too cold, just pure excitement.

Look at my dad's face - how happy.  Awesome!

Merry Christmas 2014

Santa came to visit us on Christmas Eve. He brought all the things we asked for.
Gifts this year for me and McCord were given early. McCord got the new WiiU in September when it came out. McCord gave me a new 30" LED tv early because of all the medical issues I've been having. It was nice to rest and use my present with the last miscarriage especially. He also cleaned our bedroom and rearranged it how we wanted it. So sweet!
I've also included the picture of our, sort of, lit tree and the gifts we exchanged with our little family. There was an anonymous basket dropped off at our door on Christmas Eve. We still don't know who was so generous to have done this, but the picture below was what we received. We estimate the total worth of the presents in this basket were about $300! With tear-filled eyes we thank whoever did this for us.

Talia had fun opening her Santa gift, stocking. She loved the gift we have her as well (backpack with things inside for disneyland with the disneyland tickets):

Backpack of Disney presents to take to Disneyland (from mom and dad):
I had to post this face:
(The pez dispenser was exciting this year)

WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!

We then went to Logan to visit and exchange gifts with the Day family. Talia slept in the car and I thought it was cute:

My parents are always SO generous. This year Talia got a little bike:

They also gifted us a vacuum, McCord received Bocce Ball, and I received my temple packet stuff that I've needed for over a year. More gifts we received:
Movie tickets (to McCord from Sara)
- Towels and shower curtain (to Lisa from Angie)

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE!!! We were so blessed this year to be able to get through all the rough times. We love our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and we celebrate his birth with peace and love. Happy Holidays to all!
