People told me that I would end up taking a lot of pictures of my first child.  They were right, I sure do!  I love all the different facial expressions that I've caught on camera, so this is why there are so many pictures of her posted on my blog.

"Mommy Baby night"

Each Wednesday night, a few mommy's in my ward get together and chat while the babies play with each other. I snapped this picture when coincidently they were all by each other.  It turned out so cute:

Sometimes I don't know what I would do without these wonderful moms.  We all take care of each other and are such good friends.  Cheers to you ladies.  May we never forget times like these.

Blog going private...

I mostly blog so I can print out the blog posts as a sorta journal.  I don't post to show off to other people or anything like that.  For this reason, along with others, we've decided to go private.  I figured not EVERYONE who has access to the internet should be worried about what I'm journal writing.  Nah, I don't want to bore them with that. lol.

7 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

Our 7 yr anniversary was this week. McCord and I "ran away together" to the Anniversary Inn in Logan, UT. We stayed in the room called King Arthur's Castle! Very romantic! Complete suite with fireplace, Michelangelo painted ceiling, 2 TV's, and jetted tub for 2 with lion head fountain. McCord's favorite part was the sword in the stone. My brave knight drew the sword from the stone and he thought it was SO COOL.
McCord's parents watched Talia for us for a night. It was very romantic and relaxing. One anniversary we will never forget! Such a nice getaway.

We also got champagne flutes as a keepsake to remember our 7th anniversary:

Things we found funny

Domestic-ness:

Just wanted to post some domestic things that I've been doin' lately. Not much, but I try, with what little time I have to contribute to domestic things.

- Shutterfly book of relatives for Talia.
- shutterfly book of our wedding day.
- hair bows I made today for Talia
- Baking! I actually usually make a big dessert each week. But this week I made 3 loaves of banana bread and a batch of cookies.

Snow in April?

I got out of my car at work this morning and look what I saw. Snow in April. Yep, this is a true sign that you live in Utah.

Talia loves the rain, snow, wind on her face. Here are some pictures of her while it was raining. 11 months old.

Talia's 1st Step!

Talia's 1st step was tonight! It was so exciting. It was during castle night with a bunch of friends here. It was so exciting! I screamed with enthusiasm. We're so proud of our little girl!
