EASTER 2013!

OH DEER!

We got hit by a HUGE dear the night of Easter this year.  The dear hit us, we didn't hit it.  There must have been a guardian angel with us because we all walked away perfectly fine and the car drove like it did before.  None of us got hurt and Talia slept through the whole thing.  Good thing we got new tires 4 days before, and the official registration in our name 24 hrs before.  We are so lucky and so blessed.

We are constantly cleaning the house. Talia, 10 months, is very good at making messes, now that she is so mobile.  She's like a little tornado:

Working OverTime!

Busy season for Transfer Admissions is upon us. Even though I was promoted, I still get to help out during busy season. Working at least 10 hrs OT for the next 4 weeks.

I have to post this picture of these remarkable women.  There are more not in the picture, like Amy Dickson, and some others.  These women have helped me so much.  We all live in the same apartments and help each other out with EVERYTHING (food, babysitting, walks together, etc)  I just had to post a picture of them. This is when we all took our babies (6-10 month varying ages) to City Creek in downtown Salt Lake City.  It was such a great day!

Talia 10 months:

Tax Return!

Our tax return came!  We are now so happy to have a new laptop (ours has been broken for 3 months) and a new washer (ours broke 2 months ago).  I've been going to neighbors houses each week to use their washer for the day.  So nice of them to help me out, but it'll be SO nice to have one of my own again.  The rest of the $ will go to tuition for this year.
Date night to remember: We also had a FANTASTIC date night!  McCord took me to TUCANOS at the Gateway in downtown Salt Lake City after going to the temple.  I've never been and he was so excited to take me there.  The experience I had was amazing.  This may be our new favorite restaurant.  The temple was amazing as well, simply beautiful and spiritual.  One of the best date nights ever!

We're going to The Con!

WE'RE GOING TO THE CON!
We miraculously got ComicCon tickets this year!  It only took a team of 4 people and 6 computers to get us all tickets.  They sold out within 45 mins.  It's about 100,000 people attend each day over the 4 day time frame.  to sell out 400,000 tickets in 45 mins is pretty amazing.  We are so lucky!  It's our summer vacation!!
