Time continues to fly as Talia gets bigger and bigger.  Here are some pictures of her @ 9 months old.

Talia @ the InstaCare

Talia was pretty good waiting 2 1/2 hrs to see the doctor when we went to the InstaCare this last sunday night.  She was diagnosed with ear infections in both ears. I took pictures since we were waiting so long.  She's such a sweetheart.

PROMOTION!! U of U Assistant Supervisor

I had an interview today for a promotion in the Office of Admissions at the U of U.  I've been in the office for 3 1/2 years and was so excited to get an interview for an assistant supervisor.  They called me in for the interview and stopped going down the list of questions after the first question.  The supervisor and Director stopped the questioning and flat out said that they wanted to offer me the job right then and there.  They offered me the position and a raise.  I accepted gratefully!  Woo!  I begin my new position on Monday - in 2 days!  Awesome!  I'm super excited!

New car, Talia update, Groundhog's Day

McCord, my awesome grease monkey, gets acknowledged in this post.  HE'S AMAZING.  He's made over 6 different repairs on BOTH of our cars over the last 3 months.  He's fixed batteries in both cars, flat tires, starter, clutch (3 times), lights, heater, and accesories.  He's fantastic.

Talia was good in church last week. So good she got a special treat. She ate 3 big pieces of strawberry cake.

New Year - New goals

This post is mostly for personal journal recording.

This year we've made some goals together. I'd like to write them down so at the end of the year we can see how we've done.

1- Pay off our red car - sept 2013
2- Pay off the Jelly Bean/Zippy. Feb 2013
3- Go to the temple 1-2 times per month.
4- continue date nights once per week.
5- chore cleaning chart.
6- FHE each week.
7- continue scripture study and prayers daily.
8- Go on a vacation.

Personal goals:
1- scripture study daily - New Testiment
2- Promotion @ work.
3- continue well-u program for insurance
4- read Ender's Game before movie comes out.
5- one BIG service project this year.

Date night @ awesome Wendy's

Check out the Wendy's that we accidentally stumbled upon! We were on our way to a Christmas party and we miss our exit, so we took the next one ad decided to stop at a Wendy's for a quick bite, and we had a coupon. Little did we know that the Wendy's was going to be all spiffed up with a fireplace, classy music comfy chairs, and dessert displays. The electronic drink dispenser was awesome too. We had a fun little date night at this Wendy's.

Temple

I wanted to just post some pictures today of the two temples that mean the most to me. The blessings of the temple are amazing and eternal. This Christmas, McCord and I are doing service. Service for people in our ward with presents, food, blankets, etc as well as in the community. We also will be doing temple attendance as a service to those who have passed on. May we all remember to repent of any sins so we can go to the temple. We are SO blessed!
May we all try to bless someone else's life during this Christmas holiday as well as our own families.
